science month celebration
Science month celebration 2013
"The reproaches against science for not having yet solved the problems of the universe are exaggerated in an unjust and malicious manner; it has truly not had time enough yet for these great achievements. Science is very young - a human activity which developed late." - Sigmund Freud
Science (from Latin scientia, meaning "knowledge") is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe. In an older and closely related meaning, "science" also refers to a body of knowledge itself, of the type that can be rationally explained and reliably applied. A practitioner of science is known as a scientist.
Since classical antiquity, science as a type of knowledge has been closely linked to philosophy. In the early modern period the words "science" and "philosophy of nature" were sometimes used interchangeably. By the 17th century, natural philosophy (which is today called "natural science") was considered a separate branch of philosophy.
In modern usage, "science" most often refers to a way of pursuing knowledge, not only the knowledge itself. It is also often restricted to those branches of study that seek to explain the phenomena of the material universe. In the 17th and 18th centuries scientists increasingly sought to formulate knowledge in terms of laws of nature such as Newton's laws of motion. And over the course of the 19th century, the word "science" became increasingly associated with the scientific method itself, as a disciplined way to study the natural world, including physics, chemistry, geology and biology. It is in the 19th century also that the term scientist was created by the naturalist-theologian William Whewell to distinguish those who sought knowledge on nature from those who sought other types of knowledge.
However, "science" has also continued to be used in a broad sense denoting reliable, teachable knowledge about a topic, as in modern terms like library science or computer science. This is also reflected in the names of some areas of academic study such as "social science" or "political science".
In celebration to the Science month celebration, ISNHS joins in the celebration of this event. Many activities were done like the Ginoo at Binibining Kalikasan and other more.
Let's be thankful to our scientists for their continuos research for us to increase our knowledge.
my teacher my hero
Teachers
My Teacher, My Hero
Children have the right to be educated so parents sent their children in school. Pre-school is the first stage where the children have to experience. Teachers were their mother inside the school or center. Whenever the parent leaves her/his children in the school to go work, teachers were the one who will watch out the children. They will the one to take care the child. If he wants to go to the comfort room, the teacher will accompany him. That’s how hard to become a teacher. They sacrifice their life for the children even though they are not real children of her own.
In the fourteen year or even fifteen years of your studying teachers were your accompany to reach all your goals and dreams. They were the one who helped to you to be successful. They were the source of your lessons you are learning in everyday lives. They become our second parents. All the things that were not taught to us in our homes schools fulfilled all of this through our teachers. They made sacrifices to teach us. Sometimes their time for their family is sacrificed to us because they want us to have lessons to learn. They gave us new lessons everyday because they want us to be a good people someday, to become one who will raise our country from poverty. All of our teachers have only one purpose and that is to prepare us in our future.
Thanks to our teachers for they become our second parents. They were our heroes who saved us from being nothing or no knowledge. They are preparing us for our future. Thank you to all of our teachers. We salute you all. And may God give you more wisdom, strength, and guidance. God bless you and your family.

buwan ng wika
Manuel Quezon: Ama ng
Wikang Filipino
Filipinos
were very thankful to a man. A man who made them united. He made one language to unite these
Filipinos. Before he did it, Filipinos were using different languages in their
speeches. In every they have their own languages. Ilocanos used Iloco dialect,
and so with others. The languages they were using were not united. They cannot
understand each other. So when this man made the uniting language, Filipinos
can now enjoy communicating with each other.
Wikang
Filipino was the term used by that man to name that language he made. He
promoted it to other tribes to use. He made the country to be united. And
before I end this, I would like to introduce the man who made the uniting
language of Philippines. This man is no other than Pres. Manuel Quezon. They
considered him,”Ama ng Wikang Filipino.”
Bilang
REFLECTION
Meditation of Mine
Who
knows that in my last year in high school, I still part of Special Science
Class. Thanks God of it. For this year still I will have my computer lesson
which I consider the most enjoyable and exciting subject. I’m happy that I have
Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz as my ICT teacher. I heard my older friends that she is a
good teacher. I’m excited to meet her.
In my
first day of my ICT class I met my teacher and I made proud that she is my
teacher. Our lesson is about the web and we have to post our blogs. I made my
lessons very interesting because all our computers were connected with the
internet. We sign in to the Google Chrome and this made me great to have chat
with my friends and classmates. I’ve learned about the history of internet and
about blogs, it’s types.
I
enjoyed my ICT class for this first grading period but I ended it not so good.
I promise to myself that I will improve my attitudes not only in this subject
but all my subjects.
SONA
SONA: State of the
Nation Address
For the
fourth State of the Nation Address of our Excellency President Benigno Simeon
Aquino III were great Filipinos are waiting. The president started it at
exactly 4:00 in the afternoon of July 22, 2013.
Filipinos
were waiting what will be our president is reporting and how it will be done.
He will be reporting what he did for his past three years. They were very happy
of his report but others were dismayed. They said that he reported not the
truth. The president tackled many things in his speech. He talked about
poverty, which is one of the main problems of the country. He gave a resolution
of this problem which is the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or the 4 P’s.
He also congratulated his personnel or officers who made great things during
his administration. But unexpected event were done. Rep. Imelda Marcos slipped
down in hurry to attend the speech of the president. And all in all for me,
this day made me proud that I am a Filipino.
And for
his succeeding three years, I wish that his entire plan will be implemented to
help the Filipinos and solve the problems of the Philippines. I know he can do
it with the help and support of his countrymen including us students who are
the hope of the country.

"Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama-sama nating Wakasan"
Every month of July, the government especially the Department of Education introduces the one month celebration of nutrition. for this years, theme "Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama-sama Nating Wakasan. For this theme focuses for the main problems of our country, malnutrition and starvation. the government aims to introduce these two problems to increase the knowledge to the people about thenproblems and to solve it with the help of the people.
Malnutrition is caused by inadequate nutrition that affects people's heath. We all know that our health and wellness are important for the progress of our country. And starvation which is lack of food to be eaten which leads to malnutrition. All these two problems are not difficult to solve if only the people have the knowledge to prevent it. We can combat the problems of malnutrition and starvation by joining forces. Looking around, we can see vacant lot especially in our yards where we can plant vegetables such as malunggay. If we can do these for our daily needs, then malnutrition and starvation will be stop. let's make a habit of eating adequate and nutritious food for our health.
As a student, I know I can also help to save our country away rom the malnutrition and starvation. For the different activities in our school were conducting, I can join them to promote to my fellow students how important nutrition to us. Let's fight and help each other to stop malnutrition and starvation.
